Corrections
When this party gets something wrong, it says so here, with a date, in language a reader can check. Nothing on this page is ever deleted or quietly rewritten.
No corrections yet. That is a statement about how long this site has existed, not a claim about how careful we are. The page exists before the first mistake because a corrections page built after one is a page built under pressure.
How this page works
- Append only. Corrections are numbered in order and never removed. Taking one down would mean renumbering every entry after it — a deliberate, visible act, not a quiet edit.
- The original error stays legible. Every entry says what we said as well as what is true. A note that reads "this was updated" protects the writer and tells the reader nothing.
- Dated the day it publishes. Not the day the mistake was made, and never blank.
- We say how we found out. Including when somebody outside this project caught it, because that is usually who does.
- Numbers get sources. No figure goes back on a page until it is registered with a primary source — the build refuses it otherwise.
Found something wrong? Tell us through any of the verified channels on the homepage. A correction costs us a paragraph; leaving an error standing costs the thing this whole project is asking people for.
