Constitutional Capitalism

Constitutional Capitalism is the founding ideology of the We The People U.S.A. Party. It holds two truths at once:

I. Free markets for almost everything

Markets are the greatest engine of prosperity, invention, and individual liberty ever built. For the overwhelming majority of goods, services, and ideas, the party's position is simple: compete freely, keep the government out of the way, and let the people choose.

II. A short, named list held in public trust

A handful of systems are foundational to human survival and to the functioning of the Republic itself. When these are captured purely for profit, the people lose the leverage a free nation requires. For this short, explicitly named list — and only this list — the people hold a controlling public stake:

• Education
• Healthcare
• Banking
• Election infrastructure
• Mass communication platforms
• Energy
• Food
• Air
• Water

Public trust does not mean bureaucratic monopoly: private innovation competes on top of these foundations. It means the floor beneath every American's feet is owned by every American — and no one can sell the floor.

III. The Constitution is the operating agreement

The list is closed, amendable only in the open, by the people, with receipts. Everything not on the list defaults to liberty. That discipline — a constitution for capitalism itself — is what separates this from both laissez-faire capture and command-economy control.
